Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks an experienced Supplier Process Control Engineer to support Quality across the supply base. You will partner with suppliers and PW peers to drive process capability and product quality improvements in a high-stakes aerospace environment.

The role emphasizes coaching on APQP/PPAP elements, maintaining AS9100 quality compliance, and collaborating with Procurement, Engineering, and Value Stream Managers to ensure supplier readiness and customer confidence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems and aerospace quality requirements.
• Experience coaching APQP/PPAP with suppliers and internal customers.
• Familiar with AS13100 Chapter B and quality tools (PFMEA, FAI, GR&R, GD&T).
• Proven ability to lead quality improvement with suppliers and PW teams.

Responsibilities

• Coach suppliers and internal customers on APQP/PPAP elements.
• Ensure compliance with PW quality systems across the supply base.
• Mentor teams through process control and continuous improvement.
• Maintain relationships with Procurement, Engineering, and supplier groups.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on supplier improvement plans.
• Support VCAB reviews and communicate across organization.
• Drive product and process improvements to meet quality metrics.
• Lead cross-functional activities to improve supplier quality signatures.
