Busek Co. Inc. in Natick, MA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure purchased materials and components meet aerospace standards. You will work with suppliers, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve quality issues and improve supplier performance.

The ideal candidate has aerospace or manufacturing supplier-quality experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality propulsion systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a related manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, CAPA, and continual improvement.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and material certifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Mansioni

• Evaluate, qualify, and monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and evaluations of quality systems and processes.
• Review supplier documentation including COCs, certificates, and quality records.
• Investigate nonconformances and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify root causes with suppliers and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support disposition of nonconforming materials with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Monitor supplier performance including quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate during supplier selection, NPI, and changes to materials or processes.
• Review drawings, specs, PO requirements, and inspection criteria for supplier compliance.
• Support incoming inspection activities and resolve material discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier quality records, audit docs, and CAPA metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier quality processes and relationships.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO 9001 where applicable.
