Job summary

Busek Co. in Natick, MA is seeking an Electrical Quality Engineer to oversee the QA process for aerospace propulsion systems. You’ll ensure products meet rigorous standards, work with production teams and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement in test plans, inspection methods, and root-cause actions.

The role collaborates with electrical, mechanical, systems and manufacturing engineers to resolve hardware quality issues and improve reliability. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in PCB/PCBA quality engineering or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with electronics testing and validation processes.
• Proficiency debugging with schematics, test equipment and lab tools.
• Knowledge of quality systems (IPC/ISO) and MRB processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PCB/PCBA quality across manufacturing, assembly, testing and final inspection.
• Develop, execute and review detailed test plans for PCB assemblies and electronics.
• Troubleshoot failures at component, board and system levels using schematics and test data.
• Create automated and manual test procedures and scripts for hardware validation.
• Utilize lab equipment and software like LabVIEW and Python for testing tasks.
• Investigate failures, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and internal teams on quality issues.
• Perform incoming and in-process inspection to verify engineering requirements.
• Support MRB activities and communicate findings with customers and suppliers.
• Document test results and quality investigations with clear reports.
