Job summary

BETA Technologies is seeking a Director of Supplier Quality to lead two teams and elevate the supplier quality program as it scales toward full-rate production and FAA certification. You will own SCAR processes, AS9100D compliance, and integration with receiving inspection, while partnering with Quality Systems and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 12+ years supplier quality experience in aerospace/high-reliability aviation manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in a management role leading a multi-person supplier quality team.
• Deep knowledge of AS9100D and FAA requirements under 14 CFR Part 21.
• AS9102 First Article Inspection expertise.
• Strong SCAR program experience.
• Multi-level people management with two teams alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain Quality organization — oversee Field Operations and Internal Operations; set direction and unify supplier quality program.
• Own supplier performance management across the commodity base with scorecard metrics and improvement plans.
• Own the Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) program end-to-end and present performance at senior boards.
• Govern the receiving inspection function and integrate with production scheduling.
• Own the supplier nonconformance lifecycle from receipt to closure verification.
• Support AS9100D compliance and FAA production certification standards.
• Represent Supplier Quality to FAA CMS and ACO interactions within TC/PC programs.
• Own FAI acceptance standards for the supplier base per AS9102 and train SQE team.
