Job summary

Airbus Americas Customer Services, Inc. seeks a seasoned Supplier Development Manager to lead supplier development across Aftermarket components, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery.

The role reports to the Head of Supplier Management in America with dotted line to Europe and involves extensive travel. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering, 8+ years in procurement and supplier management, and is proficient in quality regulations and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar field.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in a procurement operations environment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and familiarity with quality regulations is desirable.
• Qualified Assessor/Auditor with knowledge of QMS and risk management.
• Willingness to travel ~50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development missions and projects to improve aftermarket supplier performance across Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
• Coordinate and execute supplier audits and assessments (SPCA, CFSA, CMA).
• Identify and mitigate industrial risks; implement containment and corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders; support supplier performance improvements.
