Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a senior Buyer to manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex subcontracts supporting DoD, commercial, and international programs.

You will lead multifunctional subcontract teams, prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and negotiate terms while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR/ITAR frameworks. Strong communication and risk-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Buyer within Aerospace OR/AND Defense Industry.
• Experience with managing suppliers, including management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunities.
• Proven knowledge of DoD procurement processes and regulations (FAR/DFAR/TINA/ITAR).

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions.
• Sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
