Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Structures Technician for the weekend shift at the Hartford Service Center. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting aircraft structures, and performing modifications as required.

You will fabricate structural components, collaborate with teams, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Prior sheet metal experience and Bombardier model familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of 8+ years’ experience of structural sheet metal & repair / modification.
• Typically a minimum of 2 years of corporate / commercial jet experience.
• Typically a minimum of 1 year of Bombardier aircraft model experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
• Fabricate and/or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached
• Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures
• Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft
• Assist with aircraft component repair
• Remove / install aircraft components as required
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures
• Operate ground support equipment as required
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hanger positions
