Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a qualified candidate to support Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Tulsa, OK, performing manual assembly and precision-measured fabrication for aerostructures.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering requirements, work orders, prints and documents to manufacture to quality specifications.
  • Set up and perform manual assembly operations and related machine functions.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts.
  • Assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies using hand-powered tools.
  • Pass a skills demonstration successfully.
  • Utilize tooling in assembling components into sub-assemblies or end items.
  • Ensure work meets work instructions and engineering specs; identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain tool certification per procedure.
  • Adhere to schedules and promote continuous flow on the line.
  • Assist and train colleagues across classification levels.
