Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
5+ years in aerospace with a design emphasis.
Knowledge of aircraft structural design and industry standards.
Experience using CAD software to design aircraft/spacecraft structures.
Experience with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and drawing creation.
Experience with PLM tools, requirements and configuration management.
Proficient in MS Office and technical writing; strong communication.

Responsibilities

Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs for aircraft/spacecraft layouts.
Create and release 3D parts, assemblies, and drawings of metallic/composite parts.
Coordinate with engineering stakeholders during design, production, and test.
Provide design engineering support to internal/external customers.
Prepare concise reports summarizing analyses and findings.
Maintain safety focus and regulatory compliance; manage time and tasks.
