Jobtailor is seeking a skilled structural engineer to design, analyze, develop, and test primary and secondary structures for a next-generation launch vehicle. You will own designs from concept through launch and create 3D models, detail drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.

Design, analyze, develop, and test primary and secondary structures for the New Glenn second stage
Take ownership of designs from concept through launch
Perform initial sizing and detailed analysis
Create 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, installations, and interface control documents
Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware
Provide technical guidance for integration
Support configuration development and trade studies
Apply practical approaches to hardware fabrication and cost impacts
Create test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware development
Collaborate with vertically integrated materials and manufacturing teams to produce aerospace hardware
Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, data reduction, and analysis
Plan, coordinate, and conduct tests and review test data
Participate in developing and purchasing new equipment and tooling
Maintain and report activity schedules, budgets, and technical status
Demonstrates expertise in structural design and analysis for aerospace applications, with a strong focus on 3D CAD modeling, mechanical integration, and compliance with industry standards. Proficient in managing the full product lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring effective collaboration with manufacturing teams.
