Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of aerospace design experience.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural design and industry standards.
• CAD experience for aircraft/spacecraft structures.
• Experience with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with PLM tools and configuration management.
• Proficient in MS Office and technical writing; able to present to stakeholders.
• Ability to work quickly and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willing to adjust thinking and behavior.
• Effective communication with peers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs of structural configurations.
• Create components or portions of a system to develop or improve products.
• Integrate vehicle systems.
• Create and release detailed 3D parts, assemblies, drawings of metallic and composite parts.
• Work independently under guidance and meet industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineering stakeholders through design, production, test, and operation.
• Provide design engineering support to internal or external customers.
• Prepare clear reports that collect and summarize information.
• Collaborate to achieve goals and complete tasks.
