Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Structural Welder for Massey’s Test Site (Starship) on the night shift. You will fabricate and repair stand structures and support equipment, interpreting drawings to ensure precision for extreme launch conditions.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience (SMAW/GMAW/GTAW/FCAW) and the ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Overtime and weekends may be required, with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on welding experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW or FCAW (including FCAW-G).
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute welding assignments for constructing and repairing site structural stands.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to plan operations and solve problems.
• Operate welding and flame-cutting equipment to join metal components for structural forms.
• Visually inspect welds to relevant standards and maintain safety and quality.
