Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is offering a hybrid co-op session for engineering students. The program focuses on analysis in structural, ATF, and dynamics areas, and on developing FEA/CFD models to support the life cycle of programs.

You will assist lead engineers with analysis results, documentation, and presentations for management and customers. This co-op runs July to December and requires you to reside in Puerto Rico at the start date.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or applicable discipline

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in analysis in areas including, but not limited to, structural, ATF, dynamics.
• Gain knowledge in development of FEA/CFD models for program support throughout the life cycle process.
• Support lead engineers to provide analysis results and recommendations through detailed documentation, formal reports, and presentations for management and customers.
• Support development of automated workflows for FEA/CFD preprocessing, post-processing, and data management through programming and AI tools.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI/ML techniques to improve model fidelity, accelerate analysis turnaround, or enhance engineering decision-making.
