Job summary

RTX invites students and aspiring engineers to join a Monday–Friday co-op in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, blending on-site and remote work. The program runs from January through June, and residency in Puerto Rico is required; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging strong communication, teaming and results oriented skills.
• Prior experience communicating across teams and platforms to successfully collaborate on projects/goals.
• Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs.

Responsibilities

• Learn about planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
• Participates in product development activities, designs, or sketches, following appropriate Mechanical Engineering design, safety, and qualification standards.
• Support product development activities including implementation of standard specifications, and development of performance requirements.
• Collaborate with professional employees to perform activities across several disciplines.
