Job summary

AlbanyEngineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an assembler to join a team building aerospace structures from composites and metals. You will read instructions, fit parts on benches or fixtures, and use drills and bonding agents to form assemblies with precision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of aircraft assembly experience, and preferably an A&P background. A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• 1–2 years of experience with complex aircraft assembly.
• TradeSchool certification such as Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) is desired.
• Shop floor math skills and ability to read drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/pre-fabricated metal and composite parts per instructions.
• Read and interpret aircraft assembly plans, diagrams, and drawings.
• Use hand/power tools and drills to assemble with fasteners and bonding agents.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and cooperate with quality department for sign-off.
