Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an experienced assembler to join our team. You will assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts to form assemblies, reading instruction plans and diagrams with accuracy and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, maintaining a clean work area, and coordinating with the quality department to ensure proper sign-off levels. Prior A&P related experience is desirable and US Persons are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience with complex aircraft assembly.
• Trade School certification such as Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) is desired.
• Shop floor math skills and ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• 1–2 years of experience using hand and power tools.
• US Persons required for Department of Defense contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts to form assemblies, using hand/power tools.
• Read and interpret aircraft assembly instructions, diagrams, and drawings with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Ensure proper sign-off levels with the quality department and maintain a clean, organized work area.
