Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) is seeking an assembler/technician for composite and metallic parts integration on various aerospace programs. You will read assembly instructions and blueprints, and perform hand and power tool operations on fixtures and structures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of experience with aircraft assembly or related trades. A&P certification is preferred. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P certification desired.
• Experience reading aircraft drawings/blueprints preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit pre-fabricated metallic and composite parts to form assemblies, reading and interpreting aircraft assembly instructions and drawings.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components with fasteners and bonding agents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
• Attend work regularly and on time; work under close supervision with detailed instructions.
