Job summary

Qualifications

• BSAE/BSME (or equivalent) with 4 years of relevant experience or MSAE/MSME (or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of structural finite element analysis and traditional hand calculations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet structural requirements defined by external customer, internal disciplines, and industry standards.
• Conduct analytical predictions for stress, strain, fatigue, fracture mechanics, thermal expansion, dynamic response, etc.
• Perform structural analysis using hand calculations (Rourk, Peterson, Steinber), FEMAP/NASTRAN, and MATLAB/AFGROW/VA-One.
• Support test activities including modal survey, random vibration, sine burst, and data correlation with model predictions.
