Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) invites students to join the Raytheon Fellowship Program in Summer 2027 as software developers and integrators on a dynamic team. The role emphasizes development, integration, and verification of hardware/software platforms.

Eligible students are sophomores or juniors (or seniors pursuing a master's) with coursework in CS/CE/SE and a path to a U.S. security clearance. Signing bonuses potential exist and a pathway to full-time employment is outlined.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 30 credit hours by internship start date.
• Programming experience in Java in Unix/Linux environment.
• Familiarity with agile development and version control systems (GIT).

Responsibilities

• Develop software and integrate components within a development team.
• Integrate a variety of applications and ensure performance and stability.
• Develop software to enable inter-component communication and testing.
• Write unit tests, participate in code reviews and design reviews.
