AeroVironment offers a paid Summer Internship Program designed to give students hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on real-world projects across AV technology, assisting in design, development, and testing of software for ground control systems, user interfaces, data pipelines, and simulations.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming foundations in Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with IDEs and development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components and systems.
• Contribute to tools and applications for AV robotics and aerospace platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to integrate and test capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and version control workflows.
• Help develop scripts to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply Agile development practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Support prototypes, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
