Job summary

RTX is seeking an Engineering Intern to learn and contribute to the development of web applications for the engineering organization at our East Hartford location. You will interface with stakeholders, translate requirements into software specifications, and help design scalable, maintainable solutions.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning in AI/LLM, cloud, and modern web technologies, with opportunities to work in an agile environment and contribute to real projects.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the needs of the engineering organization and translate those needs into clear software requirements which will drive the design, development, and testing of high-quality web applications for the engineering organization
• Interface and collaborate with our stakeholders/customers to understand requirements, manage our software products, and communicate progress
• Create strategies for developing scalable and maintainable applications
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Drive improvements in our software engineering processes and practice
