Job summary

RTX invites engineering-minded students to join our team in East Hartford, CT for an on-site internship. You will learn to translate engineering needs into concrete software requirements and develop high-quality web applications for the engineering organization.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive scalable design, and help ensure delivery on time and within budget while exploring LLM, cloud, and web technologies in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

Qualifications You Must Have

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session. Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session. Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Large Language Models (LLM), Cloud experience (AWS, Amazon Web Services), or database design.
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Experience building web applications
• Experience with JS Frameworks such as React and Vue SQL experience

Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
