Job summary

Belcan Corporation in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Should Cost Engineer on a direct full-time basis. The role is hybrid (onsite and remote) with a pay range of $32.00-$40.00 per hour and full benefits.

You will develop detailed cost models for aerospace hardware, analyze supplier costs, and support sourcing decisions across Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers. This position requires 2+ years in cost analysis and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, cost analysis, or related experience.
• Ability to analyze technical/manufacturing data and translate findings into detailed cost estimates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite (including Outlook).
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, supplier and procurement teams.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to project work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain should-cost models for aerospace hardware and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze supplier pricing, labor content, material costs, and production assumptions.
• Support RISE technology maturation programs by evaluating should-cost requests.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, and Supplier Quality teams to assess manufacturability and cost drivers.
• Conduct cost substantiation activities to support sourcing decisions and negotiations.
• Participate in supplier reviews and technical discussions to validate cost assumptions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and manufacturing efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate cost models and supporting documentation, ensuring program compliance.
