Hytek Finishes Co. is seeking a meticulous Aerospace Shot Peen Assistant for 1st shift in Kent, WA. The role involves preparing parts for shot peening, adhering to FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing requirements, and following military and OEM specs.

Schedule Type: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

$21.00 - $22.00. The pay range and total compensation package listed above is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Your pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to your relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other employees. Employees in this position will use a variety of methods to prepare parts for shot peening prior to applying plating and other coatings. Shot Peen Assistants will be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program. Shot Peen Assistants perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications.
1-2 years in an aerospace production and/or similar manufacturing environment.
*The position requires participation in the FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program, including an initial pre-employment drug test including a screen for THC, subject to quarterly Drug & BAT testing.*
