Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to verify and record outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. You will reference customer specs and QA procedures while moving parts from production to shipping, reading work orders, and inspecting items for defects.

The role requires organization, teamwork, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A valid Class B CDL and a clean DMV record are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required or pre-employment assessment for those without.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Must be well organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task, identify problems and execute solutions, and maintain confidentiality.
• Data gathering and report preparation skills expected; must be computer literate with Windows knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Reference customer specifications and Sonaca North America QAPs during duties.
• Move parts from production to shipping areas and read work orders for correct counts.
• Inspect parts for defects and package/bundle per specs; affix shipping labels.
• Operate forklift and build crates; load crates onto trucks or docks.
• Drive vehicle to transport parts to local customers and participate in continuous improvement meetings.
