Job summary

Sonaca North America is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in St. Charles, MO. You will verify outgoing shipments, prepare items for shipment, and ensure accuracy against bills of lading and orders.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include reference to customer specs and Sonaca QAPs, moving parts between stations, checking counts, labeling, packaging, and operating a forklift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1+ years of related shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Must be well organized, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient with Windows and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Reference customer specifications and Sonaca North America QAPs.
• Move parts from production to shipping areas and verify counts.
• Read work orders, verify counts, and perform buy-offs.
• Examine parts for defects and ensure quality specs are met.
• Use video jet ink printer for part marking per specs.
• Package/bundle parts and prepare for shipment; load into crates.
• Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading of shipments.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
