Job summary

Yingling Aviation, Inc. in Wichita, KS, seeks a Structural Modification Mechanic to modify and repair aircraft structures in a busy MRO environment. You will perform structural modifications to aircraft and STC installations, and conduct airframe repairs including corrosion and crash damage.

Fabrication from blueprints is required. Applicants should have extensive sheet metal experience, be proficient with blueprints and precision measurement tools, and work closely with shop and office staff to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years in Aircraft Sheet Metal with 3+ years in Modifications.
• Reading blue prints is a must.
• Reading precision measuring equipment.
• Use of sheet metal related shop equipment. Must meet Airport Authority badge requirements.
• Starlink/GoGo Installation Experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Modify and repair aircraft systems and structures.
• Complete structural modifications to Aircraft and STC Installations.
• Perform airframe structural repairs including corrosion and crash damage repairs.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts from blueprints.
• Maintain familiarity with maintenance manuals, parts catalogs, and directives.
