Job summary

ALVEST is hiring an Assembly Technician in Eau Claire, WI. The role involves assembling sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches, and related tools, with a focus on safety and accuracy. You will also assemble and pressure test valves and components, reading drawings to guide your work.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of assembly experience, can work in a team or solo setting, and maintains high quality and housekeeping standards in a full-time shift (Mon-Thu, 6:00am-4:30pm).

Qualifications

• Experience assembling preformed sheet metal parts.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble preformed sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches, and hand tools.
• Operate equipment with safety for self and others.
• Assemble and pressure test valves and similar components.
• Interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; log daily hours.
