Job summary
Skyryse is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer in Camarillo, CA to develop, test, install and integrate advanced sensors for next‑generation programs. This full‑time onsite role is based in Camarillo, CA, collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure reliable sensor systems for flight operations.
The ideal candidate has a BS in aerospace/electrical/computer science, 2+ years of experience, and hands‑on familiarity with dSpace, LabVIEW, MATLAB/SIMULINK.
Qualifications
- BS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in sensor integration or related role.
- Familiarity with dSpace, SpeedGoat, LabVIEW, MATLAB and SIMULINK.
Responsibilities
- Support test campaigns using rapid prototyping equipment (dSpace, SpeedGoat, LabVIEW).
- Model sensors (IMUs, Altimeters, etc.) in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
- Assist with sensor integration procedures as defined by vendors or stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot hardware integration issues.
- Attend program, customer and supplier meetings for progress updates.
- Assist electrical design or software implementation for sensor tech development.
- Create release drawings and schematics for installed components.
