Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by security-related procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
