Job summary

Allied Universal in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - DoD Clearance to protect aerospace and defense facilities. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining excellent customer service for personnel and visitors.

Requires at least two years security experience and an active DoD Secret Clearance; CPR/First Aid and guard license are preferred. Full-time hours include Daytime shifts on Thu-Sun with 2:00 PM–10:00 PM start times, and a focus

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
