Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Care) in Norfolk, VA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a reliable, secure environment.

Preferred Guard Card/License and CPR/First Aid certifications are valued. The role requires 18+ for unarmed positions, background checks, and a possible drug screen.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at aerospace/defense site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorization; assist with visitor/contractor entry procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.
