Qualifications

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established visitor management and access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
