Job summary

Allied Universal in Novi, MI is seeking a Security Officer Office to serve clients across aerospace and defense sectors. You will monitor entrances, perform patrols, and respond to incidents with calm, decisive action while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.
