Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions US Inc. seeks a Sales Engineer to promote and sell products across a defined geographic area and customer accounts. You will drive growth, manage projects, and maintain strong customer relationships to meet sales targets.

The role requires a minimum 3 years in sales or engineering, a 4-year degree, and the ability to travel ~60% for local, national and international customer visits and trainings. Base salary is substantial with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in sales or engineering related field.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to read technical prints/drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO quality requirements beneficial.
• Excellent customer focus and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient with CRM and business software (CRM, Oracle JDE, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Trelleborg products and services within the assigned area.
• Aim for 10%+ year over year growth in sales and profitability.
• Generate and convert projects for key customers; manage project cycle and velocity.
• Complete 20+ sales visits per month across new and existing accounts.
• Travel up to 60% for local, national and international customer visits and trainings.
• Establish market prices and collaborate with Marketing for territory strategy.
• Maintain timely quotations and use CRM for project information.
