Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.
• 2-5 years of system safety or aerospace safety experience.
• Experience with MIL-STD-882 preferred.
• DoD/OSHA safety knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of system safety programs per MIL-STD-882.
• Perform hazard analyses, risk assessments, and safety evaluations.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols for AI&T and related activities.
• Prepare, update, and maintain safety documentation (HTLs, Safety Assessment Reports).
• Support mission assurance by ensuring safety/quality compliance across lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, test readiness, and safety review boards.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of labs, test setups, and facilities.
• Investigate incidents and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Report safety findings to OSHA and other agencies as required.
