Job summary

Wencor Group LLC is seeking an engineer to oversee all engineering and sourcing activities for aftermarket aircraft parts. The role involves reverse engineering to design parts, generating 3D CAD models and dimensional reports, and creating manufacturing drawings from technical data.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and experience with SolidWorks. FAA certification knowledge is a plus. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Experience with FAA certification process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and sourcing requirements.
• Design of aftermarket parts via reverse engineering.
• Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports.
• Create manufacturing drawings from reports and data.
• Manage multiple reverse engineering projects.
• Prepare reports for FAA certification submissions.
• Assist in drawing and report checking.
