Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with ASME Y14.5 dimension and tolerance standards.
• Familiar with aerospace manufacturing methods for precision parts.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Experience with FAA certification process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design commercial aircraft aftermarket parts by reverse engineering.
• Use measurement tools (micrometer/caliper) to gather data when needed.
• Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data.
• Create manufacturing drawings from dimensional reports and data.
• Manage multiple reverse engineering projects concurrently.
• Prepare reports/data packages for FAA certification.
• Assist in drawing and report checking.
