Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a manufacturing technician for 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am, Mon–Fri). The role involves disassembly, rework, repair and inspection of aircraft equipment using manuals, blueprints and standards to ensure quality and traceability.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of related experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Training on 1st shift for ~3 months will be provided as needed, with full-time employment and competitive benefits

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, rework, repair and associated operations on aircraft equipment and components in standard and non-standard environments, following work instructions and procedures.
• Ensure documentation and records are complete, accurate and traceable throughout the process.
• Operate measuring and inspection tools to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Prepare units for preservation and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Support continuous process improvement with teammates and supervision.
