Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, OH is seeking a Repair and Overhaul (R&O) Technician on 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm). You will test, diagnose, repair, modify, and overhaul customer returned units to manufacturing specs under FAA regulations.

You will read manuals and schematics, select parts, solder, assemble, document work, and ensure quality in ISO 9001 processes. FAA repairman's certificate is preferred but not required; US person status may apply due to ITAR.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years experience in overhaul, modification, and repair of electronic components.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and procedures in English.
• Experience with reading schematics and following maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and estimate time/parts for repair or overhaul.
• Select and requisition replacement parts as required.
• Reassemble units, replace parts, solder, pot, test per procedures.
• Document time, parts, and quality on paperwork.
