Job summary

Boeing is seeking a contract technician to assist with disassembly, troubleshooting, and testing of aerospace systems. You will fabricate and modify parts per specifications, and support safe handling of aerospace components under supervision.

The role requires basic education (high school diploma or GED), ability to obtain a security clearance, and 1+ years using basic tools and following work instructions. Prior experience reading drawings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high School diploma/GED).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble systems components to support fixing failures or implementing changes.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
