Job summary

22nd Century Technologies Inc. in Heath, Ohio is seeking an Aerospace Technician to assist disassembly of system components, troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical subsystems, and fabricate parts according to specifications.

You will perform basic validation and verification testing of systems and components, and work under supervision on safe-handling tasks for aerospace equipment. Education parity: a high school diploma or GED with 1+ year of tool experience; willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance post-start.
• Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd).
• 1+ years of experience with tools and following work instructions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed.

Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.

• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1 or more years working under a microscope.
