Job summary

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures in Florida is seeking an Engineer to join our team. You will evaluate damaged aircraft components, design repairs, and generate FAA-approved data and reports.

You will interpret OEM manuals, apply CAD tools and stress-analysis principles, and collaborate with Quality Control and production to ensure airworthiness and compliant procedures. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and repair processes preferred.
• Experience with OEM manuals and CAD tools preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged components and assess repair feasibility.
• Develop repair solutions with drawings, instructions, and reports.
• Perform analysis to substantiate repairs.
• Prepare data for FAA approval.
• Interpret OEM manuals, drawings, and certification requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Ensure repairs comply with company procedures and FAA regulations.
• Support improvement and develop new repair procedures.
