Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) seeks an Intermediate Repair & Assembly Technician (2nd shift, Mon-Fri) to learn and perform a range of repairs and finishing on aerospace gas turbine engine components. Training is provided; expect work in a climate-controlled, modern facility.

Responsibilities include reading instructions, using hand and power tools, blending metals, disassembly/assembly, and quality inspection to OEM standards. Strong English and math skills desired.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school equivalent.
• Experience with general hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to perform basic shop math with decimals and fractions.
• Familiarity with measuring gauges such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Follow OEM instructions and work instructions to repair and assemble turbine components.
• Use hand-held tools and small machines to perform repairs and finishes.
• Disassemble and reassemble engine components with precision.
• Inspect work for conformance to standards and quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve processes.
