Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking an Engineering Analyst to support its Power & Controls organization. Hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, U.S. citizenship required.

Relocation not offered. You will coordinate data flow with vendors, validate data formatting, perform quality checks, and analyze data to derive business metrics. The role requires a STEM degree with extensive experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Review the formatting of the data to make sure it aligns with reliability data requirements (Spec2000).
• Perform data quality checks.
• Discuss with vendors and plan for correct execution of data flow.

• Statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity.
• Coordination with overall team for any data needs.
• Support team with any ad-hoc data related tasks.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Analyst to support its Power & Controls organization.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Security Clearance: None/Not Required.

We Prefer

• Customer facing aerospace industry experience and working knowledge of aerospace product reliability data and calculations is a plus
• Experience navigating competing priorities, achieving the highest level of engagement, and delivering successful outcomes in critical situations
• Experience with lean principles (Six Sigma, CORE, ACE) and implementation of process controls for delivery and quality
• Knowledge/Experience in Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills and attention to details
• Experience with data management in MS Excel
• Knowledge in visualization tools
• Knowledge of Database and SQL
• Life Cycle Management experience
