The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years in embedded development, with strong Rust or C/C++, Linux/RTOS knowledge, and experience with SPI/I2C/UART/CAN/Ethernet.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong experience with Rust and/or C/C++ in embedded environments.
• Knowledge of Linux, real‑time or near‑real‑time systems, and hardware communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
• Experience with sensors, radios, or mission‑critical applications is highly valued.
• Able to troubleshoot complex software/hardware interactions and deliver production‑quality code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for near‑real‑time systems.
• Create drivers, hardware interfaces, and control logic for sensors and onboard equipment.
• Collaborate with electrical, systems, and software engineers to deliver high‑performance solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, integration, testing, and validation of embedded systems.
• Debug complex issues across hardware and software environments.
• Improve system performance and reliability for mission‑critical aerospace platforms.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
