Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to verify products and processes against requirements, perform receiving, in-process and final inspections, and document results. This full-time role demands attention to detail, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

The position is based in Moorpark, California, with a 9/80 schedule: Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–3:30 PM and Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (every other Friday off).

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 5+ years of aerospace/defense component inspection experience.
• Ability to use standard inspection tools including CMM, calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with PC-DMIS programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO/AS procedures.
• Solid GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to read and understand industry standards and English.
• Effective communication with all levels of management.
• Strong attention to detail and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and processes against requirements and disseminate findings.
• Inspect components and assemblies at receiving, in-process, and final stages.
• Complete data entries for inspected items accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following guidelines.
• Collaborate within a team to meet department goals.
• Perform additional duties in related area assignments as needed.
