Job summary

Insitu in Bingen, WA, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured items and outbound materials, maintaining accurate documentation of results. The role includes nonconforming material handling, MRB support, and participation in audits and corrective actions.

The position requires onsite work with some travel to The Dalles, OR, on a 4/10 schedule with core hours 9am–3pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on internally and externally manufactured items per defined inspection criteria.
• Inspect outbound material prior to shipment.
• Maintain documentation of inspection and rejection results.
• Perform material management activities for nonconforming material.
• Support Material Review Board process through record management and clear written communication.
• Participate in audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support Quality Engineering through collaboration, escalation, and feedback regarding inspection.
