Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a quality-focused professional to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes.

The role emphasizes quality control, inventory and logistics, cost analysis, and coordination across functions. You will develop and maintain quality systems with customers and manufacturing to ensure delivery of high-quality products, while supporting Six Sigma and SPC programs and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Material Science; blueprints and airfoil specifications knowledge is a definite asset.
• Working knowledge of nondestructive testing methods is a plus.
• 1-3 years aerospace or IGT quality experience preferred; cross-disciplinary experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human factors, quality control, inventory/ logistics, and cost analysis.
• Develop and maintain quality systems with customers and manufacturing to ensure delivery of quality products.
• Manage internal and supplier audits as required by customers and the Quality Management System.
• Support plant quality and continuous improvement programs, including Six Sigma and SPC.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform audits to monitor ISO/AS requirements and support training; investigate quality issues.
