Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Quality Systems/Assurance Engineer for the Patterns Business Center at the Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility, located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd., Cleveland, OH.

The role provides hands-on quality support aligned with manufacturing, inspection, and engineering, interfacing with suppliers and customers to drive process stability and sustainability. The position is a 1st shift, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities spanning AS9100 adherence,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering and/or five years of manufacturing experience.
• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual internal audits per AS9100 requirements.
• Lead external audits.
• Review and implement quality system changes.
• Manage Material Testing database.
• Drive root cause on Corrective Actions to reduce Returns.
• Supplier scorecards for On-Time Delivery and Returns.
• Communicate with customers for problem resolution.
• Receive communication from customers to resolve issues internally and externally.
• Interacts with leadership and operations to manage quality.
• Supports EH&S metrics and programs and policies.
